Our Neighbourhood Specialist Officer is PC Tony Devries, and Karen Garwood is the Waterhouse PCSO (Police Community Support Officer).
Karen is organising
the Beat Surgeries.
She has worked for Essex Police for three years.
Her aim and vision is to concentrate on anti-social behaviour, speeding,
parking issues and generally making herself known to the community, look out
for Karen and her colleagues walking the beat and feel free to stop and chat
to them.
These are “drop in” meetings designed to give you the
opportunity to speak to your local officers about any issues you have in the
area as well as to receive crime prevention and safety advice.
Karen is a very approachable lady who is keen to be involved in the heart of
the community. She has already
made arrangements to visit Lunch Club, Women’s Fellowship and 5 to 10, as
well as Westland’s School.
If you would like to contact Karen, she is based at Melbourne Police Station telephone 01245 212 566. In the meantime, please do come along to the monthly meetings to get to know Karen and her team, learn more about crime.
